shonen anime is a category of anime made specifically for younger boys. Usually there is some type of main character, normally male, who has muscles, good martial arts abilities, and some type of ability to enhance their strength.

9. GINTAMA  (2006-2018)

Gintama is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Hideaki Sorachi. Set in Edo, which has been conquered by aliens named Amanto, the plot follows life from the point of view of samurai Gintoki Sakata, who works as a freelancer alongside his friends Shinpachi Shimura and Kagura.

Action anime fans loved Gintama not only for its humor but for its various powerful characters as well. Gintama was a hilarious anime that deservedly ran for eight seasons.
