Food Wars!: Shokugeki no Soma is a Japanese manga series written by Yūto Tsukuda and illustrated by Shun Saeki. It was serialized in Shueisha's Weekly Shōnen Jump from November 2012 to June 2019. The animation is really good in displaying the dishes, from presentation, to aroma, to inside filling, it's able to capture the essence of well-made dishes. The anime itself proves that cooking is a work of art.

The newest 10th seat of the Elite 10 Council is the sweet lady who grew up beside the port, Megumi Tadokoro. She is one of the residents of Polar Star Dormitory along with Soma, Erina, and Isshiki. She specializes in wide varieties of cuisines.
9th Seat: Nene Kinokuni
The ninth seat on the top 10 elite of the council is taken by none other than the soda master Nene Kinokuni ( also the former 6th seat ), she has adopted the family tradition and is the main chef of her family's famous restaurant. She is very hard working and committed herself to master soba recipes since a very young age.
8th Seat: Eizan Etsuya
The eight seat on the new top 10 elite of the council is taken by none other than the money chaser Etsuya Eizen (also the former 9th seat ), he is very skilled and an extraordinary chef and it was even stated by the former 2ed seat that if not for his desire for money he would have easily defeat many upper seats than him.
7th Seat: Takumi Aldini
The Seventh seat on the new top elite of the council is taken by Takumi Aldini. Just like Soma , takumi also learned about cooking since childhood while working and helping his father in their family restaurant in Italy. He specializes in Italian cuisine and has developed his skills to extreme heights since he joined Totsuki Academy.
6th Seat: Alice Nakiri
The sixth seat on the new top elite of the council is taken by Alice Nakiri, she is exceptional in her skills and a great chef. Her ability and skills lies in her expertise in molecular gastronomy, a sub-branch of food science that focuses on the chemical changes food undergoes while cooking.
5th Seat: Ryo Kurokiba
The fifth seat on the new top elite of the council is taken by Ryo kurokiba. Ryo in general is a man often seen as gloomy, lazy, and lacking interest in anything but when he put on his signature bandana on his personality changes and he becomes extremely competitive and best in his craft.
4th Seat: Akira Hayama
The fourth seat on the new top elite of the council is taken by Akira Hayama also the former 9th seat, Akira is specialized in fish, spices and aroma. He is one of the best chef introduced in the show and was able to defeat Soma Yukihira twice.
3rd Seat: Terunori Kuga
The third seat on the new top 10 elite of the council is taken by none other than the specialist of Chinese cuisine Terunori Kuga, he is a Second year in the school and one of the best chef in the show. He's also the former 8th seat
2ed Seat. Isshiki Satoshi
The second seat on the new top 10 elite of the council is taken by none other than Satoshi Isshiki, he is a master of Japanese cousins and a protégé he I extremely skilled, and he is the former 7th seat.
1st Seat: Soma Yukihira
The first seat on the new top 10 elite of the council is taken by none other than Soma Yukihira, he is an assistant chef at his family food restaurant. He has learned all about cooking from his father since his childhood. His skills have developed very versatile when it comes to cooking including Japanese and French cuisines, since he joined the Totsuki Academy.

Erina Nakiri
The new Director of Totsuki Academy is none other than the God Tongue Erina Nakiri ( also the former 10th seat on the top elite of the council ), she has an ability to find the perfect tasting dish and if any dish doesn't satisfy her taste buds the entire reputation and goodwill of the restaurant collapse. Besides form her ability she herself is a very skilled chef in various cuisines
